Ward Campout

We packed up and headed out for an over-nighter at the ward campout. This is what it takes for a family of 5 to go 1 night!! What you don't see is that we had to put 2 of the back seats down flat to fit everything in!

We bought a new tent!! Now we need to camp all the time!

For dinner we hooked up with the Andersen's and Gibbons. Chris made Dutch oven enchiladas (super yum) the Andersen's brought a watermelon and I made a Dutch oven Orange Peach Cobbler (also yum) I was worried it wouldn't turn out because I left some key ingredients at home, but it was still delicious! I was going to get a picture before we ate, but we were all so hungry we scarfed it. This is the end result! haha

There was a little treasure hunt for the kids

and glow sticks never disappoint. Thanks Sister Anderson

We wore him out, he kept asking when it was time for bed!

This one, however, never wanted to go to sleep!!

We had such a great time. We came home completely exhausted though, we didn't get much sleep. When you go camping with the whole ward you hear babies crying all night, people getting up to go to the bathroom, coughing, laughing, and other crazy sounds. But we came home and I took a 3 hr nap with the kids. We really did have so much fun though!
