Girl's Trip!!

Last week I headed to Hollywood with some girlfriends and had the trip of a lifetime. Brandon watched the kids so I could go and have a break for a couple days. My friend Melisa used to work in TV so she has some connections and was able to get us VIP tickets to Dancing With The Stars and Ellen. We had such a blast and we are thinking that this needs to be an annual trip!

we were not allowed to take cameras or phones into the show otherwise we would have had a million pictures. Our seats were right behind the Kardashians!

Day 2: we went to go shopping at the Grove and were asked to be an extra on Extra! We were hoping to see Mario Lopez but he wasn't there.

Then there was Ellen. We had VIP passes and got to sit down the isle she dances down!! The actual show was kinda lame. There were no giveaways or games. We saw Taye Diggs, Jermaine Jackson, and Kermit the Frog. I did win a shirt for my mad dancing skills! haha

Then I came home and watched us on TV

We had such a blast! Thanks Melisa for the tickets, and thanks ladies for a great time. Same time, same place next year???

Halloween 2011

We had WAY to much fun on Halloween this year. Cambree went as Little Bo Peep, Caleb was Spiderman and Caden was Woody.

Can you tell what Brandon and I went as? Some people were asking us what we were! Seriously people?

Cambree's Halloween program

Cambree had a cute little Halloween program and carnival at school. She is such an animated little girl and watching her sing the songs was SO cute.

Indiana trip 2011

WARNING: There are a million pictures. Click on any picture to enlarge it and make sure to click Older Page at the bottom.

It has been 5 years since Brandon has been to his home land, so it was time to take a visit! So we boarded a plane and set off to visit his family.
The kids had a GREAT time on the plane and were so good. The above picture is while we had a layover in Denver. The had a kid section with kids shows on the tv. Genius!

There was some rainy days so we headed to the Children's museum. They have the largest children's museum in the world. It is fantastic. We went when it happened to be the local's fall break so it was super busy. So we weren't able to do everything that we wanted to do there. But we still had a great time

We had to hit the Barbie exhibit or we would have had a major tantrum cry fest on our hands.
 Cambree and Harmony

This giant transformer was one that they actually used while making the movie!

Fall time in Indiana is amazing. We may have mountains here but they have large huge ginormous trees everywhere. The colors were just amazing. We stopped at a local apple orchard and got cider slushies and played at the park.

The kids helped grandpa rake the leaves. The would all put them in the wheelbarrow then grandpa would let them help deliver them to the GIANT pile.

Caleb was having a GREAT time! Cambree quit after the first wheelbarrow dumping. She got leaves down her pants! haha

One of the main reasons we headed to Indiana was to see this beautiful lady! This is our famous Grandma Weber and we just adore her. Cambree was telling us one night that she thought Grandma Weber was so beautiful and she wished she could have white hair just like her.
Grandma Weber has a room in her house dedicated to Christmas and keeps in decorated year round. She loved showing the kids all her decorations. They loved seeing it all. We were talking to Caden one day and we were telling him to get his shoes on because we were going to see Grandma Weber. He looked at me really confused and says, "Grandma Weber??" Then the light bulb went off and he says, "Oh, Grandma Christmas??" I laughed and told him "yes" we were headed to see Grandma Christmas. At our house she will always be known as Grandma Christmas! haha

 Caleb and Uncle Daniel

We went the week before Halloween so Grandma Weber let the kids "trick-or-treat" and she gave them each a bag of candy
Brandon with John and Kathy Greisemer. (aunt and uncle)
As soon as school was back in session we headed to the Indiana Zoo. The BEST zoo I have ever been to. It was completely empty and we had the whole zoo to ourselves.

They had an exhibit where you could pet the sharks. The kids were a little timid at first but once they tried it they LOVED it and kept asking to go back all day.

They had a large arena with a whole dolphin show. The kids loved it when they did tricks and jumped out of the water. Here we are with our cute cousin Harmony

The you could walk underneath the water and watch the dolphins swim above you

We had such a great time visiting family. Brandon and Cambree were sick most of the time but were still good troopers. We are hoping to be able to go back more often......I think we have a new fall tradition!
