Caleb's Splash party

We had an outdoor party to celebrate Caleb's birthday. We gave him a choice: he could take a couple friends to the movies or he could invite a bunch of friends to a water party. He chose water party because more friends= more presents! Smart kid, can't deny the truth!

We had hot dogs for lunch....

...2 slip n slides...and a pool

I am SO proud of myself, I made these cute cupcakes. I can't take credit for the idea though. A friend of mine had an outdoor party for her son and I stole this idea from her blog! Thanks Sara, they were a huge hit!

The cupcake is even blue with 2 swedish fish floating around in them!

We had a super fun time, but man-o-man we were exhausted. We ended up with 20 kids! But we can't complain. It was easy, the weather was nice and everyone had a blast!

6? Really??

Is it true? Can my little Dude man really be 6?
Special request: 6 pancakes stacked on top of each other smothered in syrup. So I stacked those pancakes and also made a #6 pancake. Yeah, he ate them all, this boy can really eat breakfast!

I asked Caleb what he would like to do on his birthday. All he wanted to do was play the wii (mom and dad gave him games for his bday present). We also received a shipment of goodies I ordered online. They were so excited to get their new goggles, they couldn't wait to wear them! (all day)

That night we had the family over for a birthday BBQ. Caleb got a boogie board for the pool.....

...and a fish tank + 3 fish!

He named them Mario, Bowser, and dry-bones. Can you tell we are a little obsessed? (PS we have already had 1 casualty) :(

me-ma made a favorite....Jello Cake! Yum (papa is teasing him)

Ashley and Ryan gave him a cup of tokens for a Chuck-E-cheese date with them!
Happy Birthday Buddy! I can't believe that you are already 6 and on your way to first grade.
We love you!

One fine lookin group of "hotties"

Well we all decided to get a job at the local school cafeteria..... just kidding
We took a tour of the candy factory!!
We went with my mom, Landon and my Aunt Wendy and her two kids Maxwell and Asha. It was totally something different to do and the kids really liked it! And who wouldn't want to go to the Candy factory just for an opportunity to look this good???

PS I bought some fresh taffy (YUM) and Grapefruit Sour Candy things (Double YUM)

Festival with Me-ma

We celebrated our 7th anniversary with a night out at The Cracker Barrel for dinner and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Hale Center Theater. It was a GREAT show, so funny and it was SO nice to get out just the two of us!

While we were out my mom took the kids to a festival. They had so much fun they have been talking about it for days!

Caleb got a hole-in-1

Roasting Marshmallows

Aquarium

Our fun continues! These pictures are a little out of order, but you can still see how much fun we had!

This last week we went to the Living Planet aquarium with me-ma and Landon, then we headed to lunch at A&W.

This little boy is SO much like his dad! I love it! If you look closely you can see that he is drinking his rootbeer and his pinky is up. Subconsciously Brandon does this exact same thing!!

This was at the Aquarium, we have been seeing quite a bit of this lately.....
...and some of this....

...and quite a bit of this!! LOL There were people standing around to see what was going on and here I am watching my child throw a tantrum and taking pictures! HAHA This is all because she didn't get her way!

Sea Turtles

If you look closely you can see a shark in the tank

Penguins

There were a few moments that were hectic with a tantrum from a child and a teenager, but it was still a great time. This summer is SO much fun, it will be one to go down in the record books for sure!
