Best show EVER!

 So when we are with the Gibbons we know that we are always going to have a good time! This was no exception. We went to their house for fireworks for the 24th of July. It was nuts. He had gone up to Evanston and spent the wad to get the biggest and best. But little did he know that he was not the only one with that idea. The Soderstroms and Wasdens who live on the same street had done the same thing. The whole night was like a competition of fireworks. It was amazing. We have never seen such a good show in a residential neighborhood. Between the 3 houses they had spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars for our pure enjoyment. We bought a little $10 pack of fireworks to contribute. Wasn't much of a contribution, next year we will buy Chris' tank of gas to head back up to Evanston. We have already staked out our spot for next year's show!




Our kids are super sensitive to loud sounds so they didn't really like it. We thought it was amazing. Can't wait for an even bigger show next year!

    That sounds fun! This year we went to a monster truck show and someone recommended that we buy some cheap ear protection for the kids. We got them at Harbor Freight for like $3-4 each and we have used them so much! The kids put them on when I vacuum, grind wheat, or we do construction work. And they were invaluable for the 4th of July. You might look into it--they are just over the ear, soft squishy things that protect a lot. Ours even fold up a bit so they're smaller to carry :)
