Merry Christmas

Hart Happenings  2011
2011 has been a great year for the Harts. Here is what we have been up to:

Brandon started his own little side business at the end of last year and it is doing so well that he is actually working from home full time now. Recently he partnered with his boss to form his own company doing online affiliate marketing. He really enjoys it and it is fun to have him home every day. Also, he is serving as the Stake Young Men’s secretary in church along with Scout Committee Chairman in the ward.
Amanda is still able to stay at home and take care of the little munchkins and wouldn’t want to do anything else. This past year she has enjoyed her new hobby teaching people how to make their own temple pictures, and other crafts. She recently got to go on a trip with her girlfriends to LA to see Dancing with the Stars and Ellen. Amanda is still serving in the Relief Society Presidency which keeps her busy but she loves serving the women in her ward.
Caleb started 1st grade this year and is doing so well in school. He loves math, reading, and recess. He teamed up with some friends to start a football team that plays every morning before school and at every recess. Caleb played in a little basketball workshop this year and played in two different soccer leagues. He enjoys watching football with dad, playing football and soccer outside with friends and is hoping mom and dad will let him play in a football league this next year (nope!). Caleb is a great big brother and provides so much laughter and entertainment for our family.
Cambree started Pre-Kindergarten this year and loves to go to school. She loves to play Barbies, Polly Pockets, dress-ups and anything girly. She is very good at imaginary play and loves to interact with all her toys. Cambree played soccer in the spring. She wasn’t really into it, so we will stick to dance. She loves her dance class and can’t wait to go each week. We actually had to move her up a class because she was getting bored with her age group. She is now in an older class that challenges her more and she loves it and is doing really well. Cambree is the sweet princess of our family and you can always count on her for hugs or kisses.
Caden is the comedian of the family. He turned 2 back in May and is such a spark of energy. He talks extremely well and says the funniest things. Caden loves to dance and sing. His favorite song is “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story. He knows every word. He likes to play outside, play with his brother and sister, and loves to watch Mickey Mouse. Caden likes to run errands with mom, wrestle his siblings and tickle dad. Our family would not be the same with Caden, he provides so much entertainment and joy and he can’t wait to be a Big Brother.
That’s right…..there is another baby Hart on the way! We are expecting another little boy due to arrive in February, leap day to be exact! We are very excited for him to get here and are trying to come up with another “C” name. The same time we got pregnant Amanda contacted Fifths Disease which is a nasty virus that put the baby at high risk for up to 20 weeks. We had ultrasounds every 4 weeks up to 20 weeks and everything looks great! We are out of the dark and no longer have to worry. He is a healthy active little boy and we can’t wait to meet him.
As a family this year we were able to take 2 big trips together. Back in February we took the kids to Disneyland for a week and in October we went back to Indiana to visit Brandon’s family. We had a great time on both vacations and feel blessed that we were able to travel together. Caleb was not a fan of Disneyland and tells us constantly that he has no intentions of going back. Cambree loved Disneyland and went on all the big rides that she was tall enough for. Indiana was a time to see family that we hadn’t seen in a long time and it was so much fun. We hope to be able to go back there more often.  We also enjoyed our annual trip to Bear Lake with the Hart Family.
Our little Hart family feels so blessed this year. In a down economy we are grateful that Brandon is able to work and provide for our family. We are grateful for our good health. We are grateful for family and good friends. We are truly a happy little family…..if you can even call us little anymore!

We hope that you enjoy your holiday season and get to spend it with those you love.
Merry Christmas
Love,
Brandon, Amanda, Caleb, Cambree, Caden, and little baby
Hart
