January Fun

 I realized that the past two months I didn't really take any pictures! The last 2 months of being pregnant really did me in! We really didn't do anything picture worthy because I felt so lousy! But here is a glimpse of just a few things we have done lately....

Caden had a little play date with his best buddy Ethan. He came over for 1 hr and for that 1 hr it was total chaos! After being here about 10 minutes I was about done. These two together are trouble. Don't ask why but I could not keep clothes on either child! I told Cambree I would pay her $1 to go play with them in the toy room and keep an eye on them while I tried to get something done. After 10 minutes she comes downstairs completely frustrated and tells me that it is not worth $1...she was done! haha I love that they are good buds, but holy smokes are they trouble! Good thing I was paid for my time in Chic Fil A! haha

My sister and I took my mom out for her birthday to Desert Star Playhouse, which she loves! It was a fun time just being with us girls!!

We took the kids to the dentist for a cleaning. They have been trying SO hard to remember to brush their teeth so that they would get a good report back from the dentist. Our last trip was miserable. 8 cavities and an empty wallet are not my idea of a good report. So we told them if they were cavity free we would take them to do something fun. Well......not cavities......for any of us......even Brandon! So we took the kids to Kangaroo Zoo. It was a school day, so no one was there, literally. We had the whole place to ourselves. The kids had a blast! Then one month later we got a call from the dentist saying that Caleb won a prize from the "No Cavity Wall". We won an electric toothbrush. Holy Smokes, I have never seen someone so excited about a toothbrush before! 

Happy Nude Year!

 For New year's eve we went to our friend's for a party and then came back and had me-ma and papa over for a little celebration and countdown (@ 9pm) Caden kept walking around all night telling everyone "Happy Nude Year"!! Haha, Love that kid!

Super Hero Fun

 For Christmas I got the kids these superhero capes and masks. They are a hit! They have had so much fun this week using their super powers!! Cambree's power is "skeleton" she zaps you and you instantly turn into a skeleton! haha

These kids are SO funny! There is not a day that goes by that I do not laugh at the things they say or do!

Christmas morning

 We had such a fun Christmas morning! The kids were moving so fast it was hard to get pictures, so I didn't take too many, I just enjoyed watching the kids!

 Caleb got a new basketball hoop and ball....and mom and dad gave him some wii games.

 Caden got a new bike....and we got him an RC car

 Cambree for a Leapster Explorer with games.....and we got her an entire bin of dress up clothes.

Brandon got a Blue-ray player and a soundbar, and I got  new bedroom furniture. Pictures to come soon! After we opened gifts we had a brunch with the family and got ready for church. Then we got back together with family that night to play games and relax! We had such a great Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve Night

 I LOVE Christmas Eve. This year we went over to my parents and had dinner and sang some songs and games, and just had a good time being together. My dad and Brandon sang an awesome rendition of White Christmas......video coming soon!

 The kids got to open their Christmas jammies at me-mas and papas. So fun!

 After the party we ran home and got ready for Santa. We had been tracking him online all day and knew he was getting close! We set out cookies and milk for santa, carrots for the reindeer, and wrote a letter to Santa.

 We don't have a Chimney so we had to put out our Santa key. This is a special key that is magic! It only works for Santa. This is his key, so that he can be sure to get in the door, since we don't have a chimney!

 Then we went outside and left our renideer dust on the yard. This is a special mixture of oats and glitter. The reindeer are attracted to it. They eat the oats and the glitter is just the magic they need to keep going throughout the night.

Needless to say we had so many reindeer on our front lawn that when we got up the next morning we also had a special surprise from the reindeer....poop!! haha
We better hurry up and get to bed so Santa can come! Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Eve Morning

 We have started a new tradition. On Christmas Eve morning we get to open our presents from Grandma and Grandpa Hart. That way we can call them on the phone and the kids can open their gifts, tell them thank you and then have the whole day to play with their new Grandma and Grandpa toys.
